Welcome! I am an editor, teacher and writer with expertise in developmental editing in the sciences and humanities. This site describes my activities in these areas.

As an editor, I work with clients to conceive, carry on, and complete a range of projects from books to business plans to research proposals.

As a teacher, my classes emphasize writing in the sciences, technical writing, and professional writing.

And as a writer, I write articles for academic and popular audiences on topics like diaspora studies, scholarly editing, and book publishing.
